Marlena Paige Norman
Birth: date: 30 January 1990 I am the only child of my parents, though both had further children with later marriages. Born to Mike and Allison.
I have four siblings, Sarah, Jonathan, Cameron, and my sister-from-another-mister Kristeena.
Schooling: Graduated from Sequoyah High in 2008, South Georgia State College in 2013, and Valdosta State University in 2016.
I grew up in Marietta and Woodstock, before moving down to Blackshear for several years. After getting married, I moved to Valdosta (where I live currently).
Marriage: Married to Joshua Wallace Date: 20 May 2016 Met Joshua Wallace while attending college at Valdosta State University. He worked at the library; we had our first "real" conversation over Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and Simmon's Hyperion, and I was hooked from there. We were married three years later in Smyrna, Georgia.
I'm fairly (incredibly) new to the world of genealogy - my mother bought us one of the ancestry DNA kits for our one-year-anniversary, and I've jumped in with both feet! I lost my father in March of 2016, and it's got me thinking about getting the family history together for any future children I may have to learn where they come from.
