Biography

Jessie Emily Norman was born 7 Sep 1884. She was the second child of Henry Norman and Ella Avery ^[1]. Jessie was censused with her birth family in 1910, residing in Norwich ^[2], however her online memorial site and her Social Security application both illustrate that she was born in Naugatuck, Connecticut ^[3].

She married 7 Jun 1912 @ Groton, Connecticut, Edward Almy Breed. They had 3 children:

• Dorothy Emily Breed (1916–2007) ^[4]
• Norman Hebard Breed (1917–1989) ^[5]; married Minnie Chieka
• Edward Avery Breed (1920-1995) ^[6]; married Corrine F. Noyes
