Biography

Thomas was born about 1839 based on the details in the 1871 Census.^[1]

Thomas married Jane Simmons Williams (~1840 - ~1900) and the marriage was registered in the 4th quarter 1858 in Islington, Middlesex.^[2]

1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Thomas, a tin plate worker, was living at 79 Georges Road, Islington with his wife Jane, and their children Thomas, Louisa, Augustus, Jane and Walter.^[1]

1881 Census on the 3rd April 1881 Thomas a tin plate worker, was living at 8 Frankfort Terrace, Paddington, Middlesex with wife Jane, and their children Thomas, Louisa, Augustus, Jane, Walter, Clara, Madeline and Oliver.^[3]

1891 Census on the 5th April 1891 Thomas a fruiterer and market gardener, was living at 494 Harrow Road, Paddington, Middlesex with wife Jane, and their children Thomas, Augustus, Jane, Walter, Clara, Madeline and Flora.^[4]

1901 Census on the 31st March 1901 Thomas a widower and a greengrocer, was living at 279 Harrow Road, Padddington, Middlesex with his sons Thomas and Augustus.^[5]

1911 Census on the 2nd April 1911 Thomas a tin man, was living at 19 Woodpack Place, Hackney Wick, Middlesex with his son Thomas and his widowed sister Hannah Hembrow aged 62.^[6]

Thomas died aged 74 in 1912 in Hackney, Middlesex.^[7]
