• Last name at birth (LNAB) is "Corbin". He was the child of Francis Corbin and Sarah (née Stone) Corbin. This is proven by virtue of the wedding contract between his widowed mother and her second husband, John Norman.^[1]
• First name variously spelled "Edmond"^[1][2] and "Edmund".^[3][4] The latter is chosen.
