Paul Thomas (Thomas) is the son of Louis Normandeau dit Deslauriers, born in 1722 and married in 1746 to Marie-Anne Bedard.

Thomas was born in Charlesbourg on 7 September 1756. His occupation was listed as laborer and, in 1802, as farmer.

Marriage: 17 February 1783 in Charlesbourg to Marie Hupé (daughter of Nicolas Hupé).

Children of Thomas and Marie (all born in Charlesbourg):

Thomas, born and baptized 14 January 1791.

Louis, born and baptized 4 March 1802.

Jacques, born and baptized 19 February 1805.
