Abby Marceline Norris is the daughter of Josiah Norris and Mary (Bean) Norris of Center Harbor, New Hampshire.

On March 4, 1852, Abby Marceline married her first cousin, John True Bean, son of Horatio Nelson Bean and Betsey G. (True) Bean. ^[1]

Children of Abby and John are:

Mary "Lizzie" O. Bean, born March 29, 1853, married first John Q. Hatch, married second, John F. Hall;

Abby Frances Bean, born April 14, 1856, married _____ Varney;;

William Frederick Bean, born November 3, 1860, died 1921;

Josiah Nelson Bean, born August 3, 1866, died 1944
