Occupation: Farmer & Pugilist It was reported that: "over two hundred people gathered to watch a fight between Patrick Norris of Cornwallis and Joseph Arnold of Wilberforce for 10 pounds a side. The fight was undecided after eleven rounds as the police came on the scene and ended proceedings."

Marriage: 27 Oct 1845 to Eliza Wilson in Windsor RC, NSW. Children:- Maria (1844-1891) Stephen (circa.1846-1846) not known if more children were born - Maria married 1. George Sydney Sommers and 2. Chas. Eather.

Death: 9 Mar 1890 - George St. Windsor, NSW.

Obituary : Old Resident Gone. On Sunday morning last, an old resident, and a native of Windsor, Mr.Patrick Norris, died rather suddenly at his residence Newtown. Mr. Norris was always a strong and energetic man, but recently he had been under medical treatment. He had partaken of breakfast and was reading a newspaper on the morning in question when he suddenly fell. A doctor was sent for, but when he arrived, Mr Norris was dead. The deceased was widely known, and having been in Windsor in the early days, could tell a host of good stories about those stirring times. His remains were interred on Monday, in the R. C. Cemetery.
