Charles Henry Richards was born on the 28th of July 1829 and he was christened on the 23rd of August 1829 at All Saint's in Wandsworth, Surrey, England. His parents are George Richards and Ellen (Wright) Richards. His father passed and she remarried to Joseph Norris and Charles has five step siblings. He appears in some later records as Charles Norris
