POPPLEIN.-On September 17, 1958, at her home, 2102 Maryland avenue, MAMIE R., aged 87 years, wife of the late Nicholas Z. Popplein and mother of Miss Esther N. Taylor and Mrs. Mary Popplein Braun, of Washington, D.C. Friends may call at Stewart and Mowen Company, 108 West North avenue, Wednesday and Thursday, 3 to 9 PM. Funeral services on Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment in Druid Ridge Cemetery. - The Evening Sun, Thu., 18 Sep 1958 (newspapers.com)
