The second Robert hight (called),

Research Notes

According to the Visitations of Nottinghamshire [3] it was Thomas North of London, haberdasher, who married Christian Warcop, daughter of Richard Warcop of St Nicholas near Appleby in Kent, and was the father of Sir Edward North, First Baron North.

His birth place, given here as being Walkeringham, Nottinghamshire is uncertain. He was more likely born in London as that is with his father lived. There was a contemporary Edward North (his cousin) who was born in Walkeringham and held the family estate there.

Can someone from the Caddy family please add a source other than a reference to an ancestry tree which may contain errors. Original sources are the best thing.

both of sources 2 & 3 are not availble to the reader of this page, (Clicking on them does not reveal anything) and hence need removal or information added. Thanks for your assistance
