Edward North was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Research Notes

According to the Visitations of Nottinghamshire ^[3] it was Thomas North of London, haberdasher, who married Christian Warcop, daughter of Richard Warcop of St Nicholas near Appleby in Kent, and was the father of Sir Edward North, First Baron North.

His birth place, given here as being Walkeringham, Nottinghamshire is uncertain. He was more likely born in London as that is with his father lived. There was a contemporary Edward North (his cousin) who was born in Walkeringham and held the family estate there.
