Brownlow North (6 January 1810 – 9 November 1875) was an English evangelist.[1]
He descended from nobility, and was the son of Rev Charles Augustus North, Rector of Alverstoke, and Rachel Jarvis.
His was a life of redemption, from privileged largesse in his youth to pious consciousness in middle aged. In Ireland, he met young Grace Ann Coffey, the daughter of Rev Dr. Thomas Coffey, DD. She ran away to marry him in Scotland in 1828, aged 16. They had three sons.
