Biography

As per daughter Alice's death certificate emigrated to Canada circa 1868. But 1871 Census (London, Surrey, Eng.) indicates after 1871.

Per 1841 Census: David North, Patience North, James North (11), Sarah North (5) & Maria Jarvis (aged 4).

*Maria Jarvis appears next, aged 15, in the 1851 Cheltenham Census with in the family of John Jarvis (58); Ann (36); John Jarvis (18); Fanny (16); & Pheby [Phoebe?] (5). With the age difference between John and Ann, and the gap in ages between Maria and Pheby (ten years), is Ann John's first or second wife?... Is Maria related to David or Patience? Thus, David or Patience to John or Ann? Is Patience's maiden name Jarvis, or that of Ann, or that of a first wife???
