Pippin Sheppard ~ WikiTree Greeter

I found some old photos from the 1890s and was able to scan and identify some of them before they went to another owner.

I searched one name and was linked here to Flaxington-11 account. I would like to be able to send the account at least one image that I have identified for Marian Emeny Flaxington. But I am having trouble figuring out how to get the image to them in some form. Is there a way to send email to their account indirectly through the site? Or some other means of getting the image to them?

Eric, you can send the person a private message through the system. Look for the link under their name that says "send private message." A form will appear to you to fill out. You'll have to ask them for their email address. These are not public on WikiTree.

Thanks. I figured out I can't send a private message because the tree has no Profile Manager attached to it.

Sad because it was a really nice old picture that someone would have liked. Without a profile manager, I can't ask for permission to add the photo to the images either. I posted it to twitter to put it out on the net at least. I will see if there are other places that are looking for the info so it gets out there to someone. I don't have the originals I just had the oppty to scan several photos.

Eric, you can post about the picture on G2G. Someone might take interest. If you do, be sure to include a surname or surnames in the tags line of the form.
