Melissa (Norton) Allred was a Latter Day Saint pioneer.
Biography
Melissa Isabell (Norton) Allred was born December 23, 1824 in New Lisbon, Henry, Indiana[1] to David Norton Jr. and Elizabeth (Benefield) Norton. She married Paulinus Harvey Allred on February 3, 1848 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa, (near Winter Quarters, on the Missouri River). Together they had 8 children, 6 sons and 2 daughters. She died at home, her Husband by her side, in Lehi, Utah on July 26, 1892.[2]
