Biography

1776 Project
Ensign John Norton served with 18th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

He had a brother, Martin, who died before 29 Jan. 1793. Martin had a son John.

John Norton was a Veteran of the Revolutionary War. Regiment: 18th Regiment of Militia (Commanded by Jonathan Pettibone). He commanded a Company.

John died from small pox. Buried at West Suffield Cemetery, Suffield, Hartford County, Connecticut.
