MR. AND MRS. C. NORTON

Clyde Norton Jr., 30, and his wife Dolis (Donna), 28, of 5206 OakPark, were dead on arrival at Pontiac General Hospital yesterday from injuries suffered in an airplane crash..

Mr. Norton, who was born in Waterford Township, the son of Grace and Clyde Norton, married Dolis Hunt in September 1942.. She was born in New Lisbon, Ind., the daughter of Ruby and Wilbur C. Hunt, and was a resident of the county for 15 years...

Employed as a tool grinder at Pontiac Motor, Norton served in WW II and was discharged in 1945.. A lifetime resident of Oakland County, he was a member of the Cedar Lodge F.&A.M. No.60, the American Legion and a lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol..

Mr. and Mrs. Norton are survived by three children, Connie Sue (14), Pamela Jean (11), and Ronald Gene (4), all at home.. Mr. Norton was survived by two brothers, Ray and J.C. of Clarkston and Pontiac; and three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Anthony and Mrs. Donald Coffey both of Pontiac, and Mrs. Thomas Streeter of Rockford.. Surviving Mrs. Norton are three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Strentz and Mrs. Lloyd Foltz, both of Muncie, Ind., and Mrs. William Pitser of Keego Harbor, and one brother, Carol Hunt of New Lisbon, Ind..

Funeral service will be held Wednesday from the Donaldson-Johns Funeral Home, with burial in Ottawa Park Cemetery.. Rev. Elden Mudge of the New Hope Bible Church will officiate. A Masonic Grave Service will be held for Mr. Norton.. The bodies may be viewed at the Donaldson-Johns Funeral Home tomorrow at 7 p.m.
