Clarence Allan Norton was the son of Harley Raymond Norton and Cecil Mae Tharp. After Harley and Cecil separated, Clarence lived with his grandparents, Paschal and Susan (Gay) Norton,[1][2] while his brother, Don, lived with the other grandparents, James and Edna (Betz) Tharp.
