The Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, WI) Sat 22 Jan 1910: The funeral services for Mrs. Charles A. Wakeman will take place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence at the corner of Merritt and Mount Vernon streets. Rev. John W. Greenwood, rector of Trinity Episcopal church, will officiate, and interment will be at Riverside cemetery. The commitment services at the grave will be conducted by Rev. Peter F. Stair of the Algoma Street M. E. church and will be private. The pallbearers will be F. B. Barnes, Postmaster, E. M. Crane, F. H. Josslyn, W. G. Maxey, William J. Wagstaff, and Louis Hochschild, the latter of Chicago. Mrs. Wakeman's death deprives a son, Arthur Goodhue Wakeman, twelve years of age, of the care of a mother. The passing away of Mrs. Wakeman was particularly sad from the fact that Mr. and Mrs. Wakeman had only occupied their new home on Mount Vernon street a few months, having removed from their home on Jackson street last fall. They had spent a long time in planning for the new home, purchasing the residence formerly owned by Mrs. H. W. McKoy and converting it according to plans which embodied their joint ideas. The interior improvements of the home were elaborate.
