Marie/Mary Norton was born on February 28, 1643 at Gloucester, Massachusetts, daughter of George and Mary (unk) Norton. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

Mary married Lieut. Thomas Hart at Ipswich on October 14, 1664. ^{[4] [2]} Thomas, son of Thomas and Alice Hart, was born in Ipswich about 1640. ^{[5] [3]}

He was a tanner by trade. ^{[5] [3]}

She died on November 29, 1689 at Ipswich. ^{[4] [3]}
