Ed Norton, 66, of Bates City, MO passed away July 3, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday July 7, 2014 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Ed was born December 24, 1947 in Colby, KS to Earl & Virginia (Salmons) Norton.
Ed married Beatrice Rieckhoff on October 5, 1968. Ed was owner/operator of Oak Grove Plumbing and Heating.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents: Earl & Virginia Norton.
Ed is survived by his wife Beatrice Norton of the home; daughter: Melissa Thrasher & husband Tom of Oak Grove, MO; son: Ed Norton & wife Jodi of Blue Springs, MO; brother: Jerry Norton of Cherryvale, KS; sisters: Linda, Maxine, Carolyn Hall; grandchildren: Sierra Norton, Brittney Norton, Justin Thrasher, Jessica Thrasher, Dawson Thrasher, Sydney Norton, Logan Norton; great-grandson: Jaxxon Bell.
