6. Daniel, b. Dec. 23, 1739; m. Sept. 20, 1761, Hannah Norwood; settled at head of Somes Sound, 1763; rem to Bass Harbor; thence to Gott's Island which he purchased of Mass. 1789; d. Jul;,r 6, 1814, drowned near Gott's Island. Widow m. 2nd.
