Benjamin Harraden died at 52 years of age on 3 February 1725 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts (Gloucester VR p 159 as "Harraden").[8]
Benjamins's probate (case 12298) was dated 7 April 1725. [9] He wrote his will 1 February 1724, leaving everything to his wife, for her and the underage children. However, the witnesses to the will said Benjamin was not in his right mind, and disallowed the will. There follows 72 pages of distribution to many heirs, with the widow receiving her third.
Deborah next married widower Joseph York on 23 May 1726 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts. [10]

His probate is dated 21 October 1728, and is 144 pages, as he died intestate. [12] His widow Deborah received her widow's third on 30 April 1736, twelve years later.
There is no record of Deborah Norwood Harraden York's death.
