Biography
George Notley was baptised 27 Dec 1699 at Cricket St Thomas, Somerset, England, a son of George Notley (bef.1662-abt.1731) and Mary (Wellman) Notley (bef.1670-abt.1743).[1]
He married Anna Salisbury on 6 Nov 1721 at Cricket St Thomas.[2]
His father George Notley (bef.1662-abt.1731) had sometime between 1693 and 1697, purchased the lease on the Manor of Cricket St. Thomas from Preston Hippisley for £200 per annum. By 1730 he had purchased a lease on land in Chillington, Somerset.
Anna and George Notley had two children:
He died in 1745. and was buried at Chillington, Somerset, England. His Will, written on the 26th of June 1742, was proved on the 21st of May 1745 by the oath of John Notley, the son and executor named in the Will[3]
