Born in 1968 in Jacoby Hospital NY. Parents, Bradford Anthony Nott and Lulu Hughes... Moved in with my fathers brother Charles in 1975 or 1976 in wallkill New York ..moved to my mothers house in Astoria Queens in 1977 married Joe Gagliano in Astoria 1984 .. Left queens in 2010 to live in Damascus ,pa our vacation home .then in 2014 moved to Florida where I reside ...
I started my research with my great grand father Percy l Nott . I ordered my great grandfather percy lincoln nott military records and received 29 years worth ...there is 150 pages of history . I also have percys father and uncles civil war muster rolls, regiments ect.... my great grandfather percy is buried at calvery cemetery in qu Queens , which i lived in Astoria most of my life and never knew ... neither did his grandchildren .. my grandfather henry is buried in nj ..he died 1989.....my great great grandpa Asahal is buried at groveland cemetery in Scituate ,ma ..My mothers side of family is a bit of a mystery trying to locate Lewis Campbell moms grandpa .Mom side of the family including myself was unaware of our ancestors....I had just a couple of names to start with .Lewis Campbell, Margaret Campbell ,William j Hughes ,Mary Dreisbach/ Dreisbaugh ...The Hughes side and Dreisbach side ,I found thru DNA ..seems there lots of those surnames in America hard to pinpoint . But DNA solved it .. Unfortunatley Lewis Campbell and Mary Dreisbach did not have male heirs ..so finding CAMPBELL evidence will be tough .. I have not found there marriage certificate yet still digging .lewis married twice .evidence came from census ..I did find a marriage certificate of a Lewis Campbell and lauracourtwright says he was born in Beaumont ,pa ..not many Lewis Campbell's born around 1870 in pa but I can not find birth certificates .....ORDERED HIS DEATH CERTIFICATE AND RECEIVED ..... .......++++++++
SOURCES ======= just a note ... i get all my information /sources from town records ,reading books of local history ,visiting grave sites . from websites such as my heritage, ancestry , fold 3,American ancestor.com Neghs ....,national archives , Fulton newspapers , cindys list . And others . BUT i find the best one to be from family search.org ................family search has not let me down yet ... i have found more information and documents on family search than the others .. except military records .... i ordered my family's military records from the united states military .... Family search now has poineers you are related to ... And shows you how you are related .

Wales Project Semi-Annual Check-In
Thank you for being a member of the Wales Project. You may recall membership requires at least one contribution to the project each 6 months. A contribution includes creation of and modification to Wales related profiles.
Have you been able to contribute?
It is recognized some members are active. Thank you for your work. (There is no viable method to determine which members have been active in the Wales Project.)
Do you desire to stay on your current project team(s)? Which teams are you most active in? Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?
Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future?
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Stuart Awbrey, Membership Coordinator
Yes I am still interested . been working on other sites .. sadly wiki is the last site I work on .It would be great if I jcould upload my gedcom from Ancestry ..
You expressed an interest in joining the Wales Project some time ago. Apologies that no one got in contact with you sooner. I’m back after some time away as the Project Coordinator for Membership in Wales and I’d be happy to help you into the project if you are still interested.
If you would still like to join, please have a look at the project page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Wales and let me know which team(s) you would like to join.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Olivia McCabe, Project Coordinator for Membership, Wales
I sent you a private message a week ago regarding your interest in the Wales Project and have not yet heard back from you. Did you receive it? Please can you PM / e-mail me your e-mail address and team(s) selection so I can get you into the project? If I don’t hear from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer wish to join the project right now but you would, of course, be welcome to join at a later date.
Best wishes,
Olivia :-)

My Grandfather William Nott came from England in the early 1900s. But there was a John Nott (Sergeant) from England who was one of the early settlers of Wethersfield Connecticut in the mid to late 1600s. I suggest you look to his line since they spread out from there all over New England.
Thanks for sharing some info and suggestion .. I am aware of most of the Nott surname of Early New England .. I have been waiting for Nott DNA Matches ..None so far are available from Vermont and Connecticut ..My 4th great grandfather Was a bastard So finding a DNA match would be marvelous..
You are listed on a page as following CivilWar but I do not see the tag here today
I am just following up on the folks listed as the tag is not working
FYI here is the message I left for others with the Civilwar tag
Just a quick point about the Civil War tag
It will not link to the project you need to re do it is
US_Civil_War if that is the one you are talking about which based on your comments
See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:US_Civil_War:_War_Between_the_States
Thanks for being part of wikitree. Any questions just ask
Best Wishes

Thanks
You created a free-space project, and I am the Project Manager on WikiTree. I try to help those who start projects get connected with others who share interests or with larger projects that already exist. You don't have much on your free-space project page, so I was asking you to add a bit more information to see what we can come up with for aid. Abby
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Also, check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!
Let me know! I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Welcome aboard!

When you have a moment, you should come on over and introduce yourself in our forum thread for new members. It's a great way to meet other genealogists and share what you are working on.
