Harry was born in 1877. He was the son of Perrin Nott and Susan Bayles. He passed away in 1964.

Harry P. Nott, 87, of the Nichols area, died at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday at Riverview Heights nursing home after an extended illness. . Burial service will be held at 3 p.m., C. S. T., Friday at the Nichols cemetery. Arrangements were completed at the George M. Wittich funeral home. Mr. Nott formerly lived with his son, Henry Nott, at Nichols. He was a civilian guard at McDill air force base, Tampa, Fla., before his retirement. He was. born at Brighton, Iowa, Aug. 26, 1877, the son of Perrin R. and Susan C. Bayless Nott. He was married first in May, 1900, to Maude M. Riske, .at Burlington. She died, and in August, 1913, he was married at Oskaloosa to Carrie F. Bowdle, who also is now dead. A son, one granddaughter and two grandchildren are dead.
