Edna Nott Ashby Died Sunday. Edna Nott Ashby, 71, died at5 9:15 a.m. Sunday, March 17, 1957 at the Burlington hospital. Mrs. Ashby was born July 31, 1885, In Louisa county, and was married May 10, 1910, at Monmouth, Illinois, to Harvey Ashby. He survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Tee, Oquawka, Illinois, two sons, Clyde Ashby, West Burlington and John Ashby, Burlington, a brother, Harry, Nichols, Iowa, 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dudgeon Funeral home. Burial in the Wapello cemetery.

Edna was born in 1885. She was the daughter of Perrin Nott and Susan Bayles. She passed away in 1957.
