Biography

Edward was born in 1896 to Frank Nowak and Victoria in Wisconsin.

Grandpa's middle name was Victor, after his mother, Victoria, but he hated his mother and changed his middle name to Henry.^[1]

He married Ethel Jean Schwartz and had four children: Frank, Betty, Joyce and Audrey.

He was a railroad worker and also worked in a foundry before he was disabled. His leg was amputated as a result of smoking. He died 3 months after my grandmother. ^[2]

In 1900^[3] he was 4 years old living with mother, Victoria age 37 head of household, and 5 siblings in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Siblings:
