He served as a captain in the War of 1812: after his death his widow applied for a pension .[1]
In 1820 he is recorded at Edgecombe, North Carolina.[2]
The 1860 census records him at Webster, Georgia, age 64, born in North Carolina. Also in the household: Sarah, 58; Henry, 26; Arthur, 23; George, 18; Sarah A F, 14.[3]
He passed away in 1866 and was buried at Webster, Georgia, United States.
