1911 census: Bristol, Gloucestershire, age 18, tailor's apprentice, in household of his parents, born Montpelier, Bristol.^[3]

His marriage to Edith Elsie Old was registered at Bristol, Gloucestershire in the 3rd quarter of 1915.^[4]

C A Nowell (or his wife) and children departed Liverpool 30 Apr 1923 aboard the Arakaka for Demerara, Guyana.^[5]

Cecil passed away in 1955 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England.^[8]

Records variously list him as Arthur Cecil or Cecil Arthur (including initials). It’s unclear which is first versus middle name.
