Dola Ann Nowell is the daughter of Delbert Sidney and Alice Marie Mansell Nowell. She was born on Abraham Lincoln's birthday in 1949 in Columbia, SC. She has one brother, Harold Wayne Nowell. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School and UTM with a B.S. in Education. There she also met her husband, "Jim" Acree, who she married just before Christmas in 1969. They have three children and live in Dyer, TN. She was a teacher for almost 30 years, part of that time a jr. high band director. She is retired now and has being doing genealogy for 25 years.

Wikitree's style guide says "If an infant died before he or she could be named, use what is on their death record according to their conventions, otherwise use Unnamed Infant.
