Elizabeth Nowell was born on 4 Mar 1845 in Benton County, Tennessee.[1] She was the daughter of Cullin Nowell and Cyntha Pierce. [2] She took care of her mother until she died in exchange for land she was given.[3] She married Sherwood William Luper on 1 Jun 1890,[4] and they are listed on the 1900 Census in Decatur County, TN.[5] No issues. She died on 15 Mar 1923 and is buried in Nowell Cemetery #2 in Holladay in Benton County.[1]
