update - merge was completed & PPP removed NOTE, however....'
I missed that their mothers were different: one had Mary (Connell) Noland (abt.1685-1747) & one had Mary O'Bryan (mother of Mary Connell). This issue is not resolved, since the researchers behind the merged profiles for Stephen disagree.
I have temporarily locked this profile in order to force the direction of the merge just proposed with the incorrectly named "Nolan Noland-3" duplicate profile. If you would prefer that this profile have the Last Name at Birth of "Nolen", let me know & I can make that change (or remove PPP so that you can).
Stephen is not my line, so I'm not sure what sources you have for how to spell his LNAB (Nowland, Nolen, or another variation).
The spelling of the name in the profile-ID doesn't matter all that much in my opinion. It does show the alternate spellings of the name in the bio. Please go ahead and merge when convenient.
Noland-34 and Nowland-68 appear to represent the same person because: dates are slightly off, but otherwise the info matches. I think these profiles are intended to be for the same person. If you agree, please merge. Thanks!
