- When Mary Molly Nowlin was born in 1728, her father, James, was 43, and her mother, Sarah, was 38. She married William Meeks III in 1750 in Surry, Virginia. They had 16 children in 22 years. She died on September 3, 1771, in Charlottesville, Virginia, at the age of 43.
