After Jacob's death in 1860, it appears as if Sarah remarried twice; first to Warren Johnson and then, James Warren.
A Sarah Warren was found in the 1880 census living in San Bernardino, as a boarder/house servant in the household of Betsey Farnsworth. The estimated year of birth corresponds.
The location of her death and possible burial is based on several family trees posted on ancestry. So it is possible that she was buried with the Warren surname rather than Casteel.
