Two Moses Noyes were confabulated by Cutter. Moses born about 1759 son of Josiah (based on age 72 at death in 1831) resided in Falmouth, Maine, was a Sergeant in the Revolution, and married Nabby Locke in 1782. Moses born in 1746 son of Nehemiah is likely the Moses who married Abigail Cobb Thomes as a first wife and married Mercy Moxey as a second wife.
