Hi Rose,

I have seen that your are listed as the coordinator for the Donauschwaben subproject of the German Roots project. My grandparents were Danube Swabians that re-imigrated to Germany. My mother has a collection of some books and handwritten notes about the Batschka Region and the town of Kischker, were they lived before they had to flee.

Let me know if there is anything I can help with!

Rose, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

{{ Languages | en }}

Hi Rose

I see one of the tags you're following is Categorization.

Did you want to join the Categorization Project?

Happy WikiTreeing

Hi Rose, I come from a long list of Nunez, possibly maybe you could be kin to Dr. Samuel Nunez, he is quite famous as his coming to America in 1733 from England, first from Portugal. He landed in Savannah, GA. You may want to research. A lot moved north to PA. and such. Happy hunting. Shannon\

Great Hunting to you you Rose! You already have more obstacles than most of us, but I am very happy to see your success! Perhaps we are closer than you may think as many of my ancestors are from West Virginia, Pennsylvania & Virginia. Let me know if there is anything I can ever do to help you! Cousin Cindy

Hello Rose

One of the photos you recently uploaded is a nominee to be our Family History Photo of the Week. We'll feature the winner on the main WikiTree home page all next week and share it on our social networks. I assume you wouldn't mind having the photo featured like this, if it were to win. If for some reason you wouldn't want this, let me know right away. We could remove it from the list of nominees if you let me know before Friday. Also, it isn't necessary, but if you have any more information about the photo or the person, I am sure members of the group would love to hear any stories or information that adds background color. You can add the additional information in the comment box here underneath the photo. Thank you! Terry
