In the Williams, Dayton City Directory, 1866-67, page 139, Emil Nunlest (sic) is shown as working 171 5th Street as a baker. In 1869-70 directory, pg.186, he is listed as barkeeper, Columbus House (swc 3d & Commercial; Peter Martz, Proprietor. In 1871-72 directory, page 216, he is shown at "Saloon, Fine Wines, Ales, Liquors, Cigars & c., old no.206 Jefferson." Although the directories from 1873-93 show some of his siblings in the area, Emil is not shown.
