A Christmas baby! Sarah Ann was born 25 December 1851 to Jonathan Edward Nunn and Charlotte Collard Taylor in Malahide, Elgin, Ontario, Canada. Sarah looks like the Nunn family. She lived in Merrill Michigan with her family and she lived in Newcastle, Weston, Wyoming, United States with her husband James Emmerson (two M's) Brown but Lusk, Niobrara, Wyoming was given her blood and bones. Sarah and James had three sons, Ellsworth, Ellwood and Frederick. Ellsworth died as an infant and Ellwood traveled Wyoming and had a daughter and son in Weston Wyoming but returned to Michigan with his wife Alice Minerva Clark because of his heart. Sarah's son Frederick married Nellie Frost and stayed in Michigan. Sarah's three daughters all lived in Wyoming. Cora, Edna and Mabel were what they were named but Edna liked to be called Ted or Teddy. She and her husband lived in Orchard Mesa, Colorado, United States. This area was loved by the family and oldest in the family, Cora, was buried here. The family's only WWII casualty was Cora's daughter Ann Harriet who died after working on a military base and becoming sick never grew stronger but died. The youngest child, married a second time and was called Maggie Griffith with her second husband Jim Griffith. She was dedicated to the museum in Lusk Wyoming. She worked with the D.A.R. to place a log cabin in the park in honor of them. The School house is in the park by the museum and cemetery.
Sarah Ann Nunn mother of 6 with James Emmerson Brown who immigrated to America from Canada into Michigan in 1891 then homestead in Wyoming with her husband as a frontiersman. In honor of her most famous daughter, Cora Mae Brown Beach, who was a representative for women's rights I mention this here. Cora Mae Brown Beach authored The Women of the West, many articles in the Bits and Pieces Magazine and many other accomplishments. However, all of Sarah and James children lived in the spirit of accomplishment and adventure. Her grandchildren were dreamers and lovers of life and lived life to the fullest. Here children lived in Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona as well as Michigan. They visited family in Canada and traveled to California and Florida and all in-between.
Many photos are from Alice Minerva Brown.

I am fond of all I've heard of my great great aunt Cora, but I am not versed in these endeavors. Many others have searched this information and I confirm that it is true.
