Lavinia married William Riley Kirk in 1864.[1]

Resided 1880 in Illinois. 1880 Census, Bainbridge, Williamson, Illinois. W R Kirk self age 40 b TN; Vina Kirk wife age 34 b Kentucky; Sarah Kirk daughter age 13 b TN; Polly H Kirk daughter age 11 b Tennessee. [3]
William died 9 Nov 1884 in Meade County, Kansas.

Vina Kirk est bd 1846 age 41 of Wilburn, Kansas married Nehemiah D. Cockran of Wilburn, Kansas age 30 est bd 1857 on 14 Dec 1887 in Dodge City, Kansas. [4]
1895 Census, Ford, Ford, Kansas: N D Cochran male age 39 b Iowa; Vina Cochran age 49 b Kentucky. Vina Cochran moved to Kansas from Illinois. N. D. Cochran is a railroad employee. [5]
On the pension payment card the word "Died" is underlined and there are several dates: 18 Sep 1922 as the date of commencement; 26 Oct 1922 as the date of certificate, 2 Nov 1922 at the bottom of the card, and 27 Nov 1923 as the date the bureau was notified.[6]
Lavinia died on January 27, 1922.[7][8]
