Biography

Marshell C Nunn was enumerated at Post Office Phi Delta, 7th Malitia District, Banks County, Georgia for the August 2, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as born 1851 in Georgia and marked as having attended school within the year as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Payton F Nunn, female Roda A E Nunn, male Jesse C Nunn, female Mary F Nunn, male William F Nunn, female Manda O Nunn, male Thomas H Nunn, male Isaac C Nunn, female Ann E Nunn, male Payton L Nunn and male James M Nunn.[1]

Marshal C Nunn was enumerated at Madison, Morgan County Post Office, Madison, Morgan County, Georgia for the July 25, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as born 1852-1853 in Georgia and a farm laborer as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Peyton R Nunn, female Elizabeth Nunn, male Thomas H Nunn, male Calary C Nunn, female Anna E Nunn, male Peyton L Nunn, male James M Nunn and male William J Nunn.[2]

Cicero M Nunn was enumerated as head of the household in Militia Districts 222, 225, Farmington, Wildcat, Oconee County, Georgia for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farmer and born December 1851 in Georgia. He had been married for twenty-seven years and was a renter. Also included in the household are wife Georgia A Nunn, son Almer Nunn, son George Nunn, son Howard Nunn, son Flornoy Nunn and son James H Nunn as seen in an image of the original census.[3]

Marshall C Nunn was enumerated as head of the household at Wellington, Morgan County, Georgia for the April 28, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1852 in Georgia and had been married thirty-six years. He was a farmer on a general farm and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Georgia A Nunn, son Henry H Nunn, son Columbus F Nunn, son James H Nunn and aunt Sarah F Langston.[4]

Marshall C Nunn was listed as the father of Archie Lafayette Nunn who died February 25, 1937 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. The mother was listed as Georgia Ann Murray.[5]

M C Nunn is listed as the father in the June 15, 1962 South Carolina Death of son Joel Abner Nunn. The wife was listed as Lillie Maughon and the mother Georgia Murry as seen in an image of the original Certificate of Death.[6]

Marshall Cicero Nunn is buried at Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Oconee County, Georgia.[7]
