Biography
This profile is part of the Eastrington, Yorkshire One Place Study.
George was born in Blacktoft, Yorkshire, England, and baptised there in 1805. He was the son of Robert Nurse.[1]
In 1828 he married Ann Jackson in Eastrington, Yorkshire,[2] where the family lived. George was a farmer.[3][4] In 1861 he farmed 17 acres and employed one man.[5]
He died in 1868 at the age of 63[6] and was buried in Eastrington.[7]
