Biography

Jill was born in 1938. Jill Nuthall ... She passed away about 1998. [1]

The Nuthall family was settled in Sea Point, Cape Town - three of the four children were baptised in The Holy Redeemer Church (St Andrew's Chapel) - Jill's being on 6 November 1938. According to her daughter, she attended Ellerslie School for Girls in Sea Point.

She married Norman John Kennedy and had two children. She later remarried Ian Rawson Chapman and had a son while living in Salisbury, Rhodesia.

Having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, she returned to Sea Point, Cape Town, where she lived with her son until her disease progressed to the point that she was placed in the New King's Residence, Kalk Bay. She lived out her life in the Residence's care facility, until her death in 1997and her funeral was held in the Holy Trinity Church, Kalk Bay.
