In 1841 William Nutley (age 60-64) lived at Arpinge in Newington, Kent with his wife Elizabeth (60-64), daughter Susannah (15-19), and grandson Henry (2).[3]
In 1851 William Nutley (age 72, Ag Labr (Pauper)) lived in Newington with his wife Elizabeth (68) and two grandsons: Henry P Nutley (12, Scholar) and George Chester (11, Scholar).[4]
William's wife passed away in 1859.
In 1861 William Nutley (age 82, Agricultural Labourer) lived at Arpinge in Newington with his son-in-law George Amos (36, Agricultural Labourer), daughter Susannah Amos (35), granddaughter Mary Amos (13), grandson William Amos (11, Agricultural Labourer), and daughter Jane Nutley (43, House Servant).[5]
William Nutley passed away in 1871, aged 93 years. His death was registered in Elham, Kent in the first quarter of the year.[6]
