Biography

Caroline Nutley was born in 1837 in Collingbourne Kingston, Wiltshire, England to John Nutley and Hannah (Matthews) Nutley. She was christened in Collingbourne Kingston on 14 May 1837.[1]

In 1841 Caroline Nutley (age 4) lived in Collingbourne Kingston with her father John (31-35), mother Hannah (26-30), and three siblings: Thomas (9), Elizabeth (6), and Eli (1).[2]

In 1851 Caroline Nutley (age 13) lived in Collingbourne Kingston with her father John (41, Farm Labourer), mother Hannah (36), and six siblings: Thomas (18, Farm Labourer), Elizabeth (16), Eli (11), Amos (8), John (5), and Joseph (3).[3]

In 1861 Caroline Nutley (age 23) lived at Kingstone Square in Collingbourne Kingston with her father John (51, Agricultural Labourer), mother Hannah (41), and four siblings: John (15, Plough Boy), Joseph (13, Plough Boy), Henry (10, Plough Boy), and Emily S (4, Scholar), as well as her grandmother Elizabeth Nutley (81) and visitor Martha Reamel (15).[4]

Caroline Nutley married William Heath on 17 Oct 1863 in Collingbourne Kingston.[5] The marriage was registered in Pewsey, Wiltshire in the last quarter of the year.[6]

Caroline and William had three children: William Henry Heath (1866-1948), Charles Heath (1872-), and Hannah Nutley Heath (1876-1878).

In 1871 Caroline Heath (age 33) lived in Collingbourne Kingstone with her husband William (39, Agricultural Labourer) and son William Henry (4).[7]

In 1881 Caroline Heath (age 44) lived in Collingbourne Kingston with her husband William (50, Agl Lab Shepherd) and two sons: William H (14, General Lab) and Charles (9, Scholar).[8]

In 1891 Caroline Heath (age 54) lived at Windmill Lane in Collingbourne Kingston with her husband William (58, Agricultural Labourer) and son Charles (19, Agricultural Labourer).[9]

In 1901 Caroline Heath (age 64) lived in Collingbourne Kingston with her husband William (69, General Agricultural Labourer) and his aunt Mary Dennis (86, Living on Own Means).[10]

Caroline Heath passed away in 1902, aged 65 years. Her death was registered in Pewsey in the first quarter of the year.[11]
