Biography

A resident of Mount Hope, she was a homemaker. On June 9, 1951 she married Lelan Vierthaler in Wichita. He survives. Other survivors include: two daughter, Donna Wheller, Meadows Place, TX and Karen Vierthaler, Overland Park; two brothers, Robert and Ann O'Bleness, Wichita and Don O'Bleness, Cheyenne, WY; three sisters, Louise Jensen, Hobbs, NM, Kay Hartsock, Portland, OR and Lynn Philbin, Moneta, VA; and two grandchildren, Travis and Jordan Wheeler.

Memorial service was Saturday, July 28 at Mount Hope Federated Church, with Pastor Daniel Ensz presiding. Private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to the Mount Hope Nursing Center or the Mount Hope Federated Church, both in care of Wulf-Ast Mortuary, Mount Hope, KS.
