Ann O'Briant was born in 1758, a child of Dennis O'Briant and his wife Elizabeth. She married about 1777 and had ten children with her husband Daniel Prillaman. Ann died in 1850, four years before the death of her husband. Ann and Daniel raised their children in the Nicholas Creek area in the Brown Hill District of Franklin County, Virginia. The original home occupied by Ann and Daniel burned in 1911 but was rebuilt using the original chimneys. The family Bible was said to be destroyed in that fire. Ann and Daniel are buried on a hill nearby (their original tombstones have been replaced). The cemetery where they are buried is called the Marshall Prillaman cemetery in the Prillaman Family history book but is also known as the Prillaman/Turner cemetery in Franklin County records.
