Lady Mary O'Brien was probably born around 1693.[1]
She was a daughter of William O'Brien, 3rd Earl of Inchiquin, by his wife the Lady Mary Villiers, Maid of Honour to Queen Mary and daughter of Col. Sir William Villiers, Knight Marshall.
She became Countess of Kildare on her marriage to Robert Fitzgerald, Earl of Kildare on 07 March 1709 at St. Andrew's Church in Dublin, and by him had twelve children. Only two still survived at the time of their father's death, most having died in early childhood.
She is buried in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, Ireland.
