Katherine (or Catherine) O'Brien, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold) (1673-1706) was the daughter of Henry O'Brien, Lord O'Brien and Katherine Stuart, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold). She married Edward Hyde, Viscount Cornbury and later 3rd Earl of Clarendon, son of Henry Hyde, 2nd Earl of Clarendon and Theodosia Capell, on 10 July 1688 at Totteridge, Hertfordshire, England, in a clandestine marriage. She suceeded her mother as 8th Baroness Clifford in 2 Nov 1702. Her husband was Governor of New York and New Jersey from 1701 to 1708. She died on 11 August 1706 at age 33 and was buried at Trinity Church, New York, NY.
