Biography
Eliza Maria O'Brien was the second child of Mary "Polly" Pierpont (daughter of John Pierpont of New Haven and Sarah Beers) and Edward J. O'Brien. [1]
Eli Whitney Blake married Eliza Maria O'Brien of New Haven in 1822; they had twelve children and sent five of their six sons through Yale.[2]
