Biography

John was also Known as Lowry. He was sttod down from the Gibraltar Gold mine in 1898 as a result of strike action. He decided to walk to Cootamundra to catch up with his mother and then get work. He intended to stay overnight with a farmer at Bongongolong and while helping to round up a bull was gored to death.
